SAFETY BOOST EDUCATIONAL TOOL
The Safety Boost educational tool is an interactive educational tool that helps to guide parents in the selection and use of a booster seat for their child. In addition to providing booster seat information, it also helps parents determine what type of child restraint is appropriate for their child. The tool includes a measuring tape so that parents can quickly determine their child’s height/length. The tools are available to health educators, nurses, parent educators and anyone else involved in preventing injuries among young children. These tools are being provided free of charge and are being provided in a box of 100. Due to limited funds for shipping, there is a limit of one box per request (if shipped). Exceptions may be granted.
For
those interested in the Franklin County/Central Ohio area, Safety Boost
tools can be picked up at the Center for Injury Research and Policy.
